And they're tone deaf as fuck. How do they respond to the backlash? "But most games sold are digital!" Bruh, it's about OPTIONS. Most of the games I own are digital, because I rarely leave my house. But I also watch DVDs, Blu Rays and listen to CDs on my XBOX. The occasional 360 and Xbox One physical game I still play like the Mega Man Legacy Collection are still in use.

Anyway.... Finally finished Final Fantasy III, but I'm upset lol. I did some grinding to get my party members from level 38 to 46. Then I did the Eureka dungeon to fight the sub boss gauntlet to get epic weapons. Then I grinded the 5th, 6th and 7th floor to fight the yellow, green and red dragon to get the onion gear. But did I? Well, no. I got the onion helmet and the onion shield. That's it. Also, the red dragon NEVER spawned on this play through. It wasn't a total loss as I got a bunch of Elixir potions so I was able to use magic with abandon.

Now I'm stuck in Final Fantasy IV with the Baigan fight. He hits HARD, multiple times and uses hold on all my party. The only person with ESUNA is the old mage and he can't target all party members with it. I'm considering grinding a bit in the wilderness outside to make the party slightly stronger. I think I'm level 17.

Im starting octopath traveler 2 because of the hype of that new FF snes looklike and i can remember now what annoys me. The constant walk and suddenly a combat. Also you can farm this way but its crazy

I finished Cyberpunk three times in 100%. Now I'm thinking that maybe it is time to do 100% for main game and for phantom liberty, because I have a feeling that with phantom liberty I've missed a lot. One of greatest games ever for me - no question asked.

Witcher 3 was also great. I wanted to do another walkthrough but I've got bored - last time I did all quests in main game & dlc's. I always feel urge to do everything in a game so there is not so much fun in replays.

I can see why so many people keep coming back to this game. I haven't completed it multiple times, but I liked the Cyberpunk aesthetic enough to buy a Cyberpunk-inspired costume. Now I feel even more motivated to play through the game properly and experience everything, especially Phantom Liberty.

Random encounters are such a pain in any game. That being said, the Octopath Traveler games are amazing. Love them both (haven't played Zero), and 2 is just 1 on steroids. Everything that worked from the first plus better stories, darker, more theatrical combat (when the camera spins after fully charging!).

If you like RPGs, but don't like random encounters I recommend Sea of Stars. You can see the enemies in the overworld and you can choose to engage or avoid them.

This looks great! Thnx. About random encounters are good for farming but yes its sometimes annoying,that was in FF1,2,3 and the same or worst in Octopath 2. But its cool to see how a game look like now following what the first FF series started. And its really good

Baigan can definitely be a tough fight if you reach him a bit underleveled. Around level 17 is possible, but gaining a couple more levels can make a noticeable difference. I'd also focus on taking out his arms first since they can be really annoying if left alive. Make sure everyone has the best equipment available from recent towns, and don't be afraid to use healing items instead of relying only on magic. As for FFIII, getting only the Onion Helmet and Shield after all that farming is pretty unlucky crazy time live. At least you came away with plenty of Elixirs, but I can understand why that would feel frustrating after putting in so much time.
