I loved those games.  Did they change for the PS3?

Informal survey: Which upcoming shooter is more anticipated by this gang, Battlefield 3 or CoD:MW3?  And why?  Never played either franchise but it's related to a case of mine.  Don't really play video games at all any more, except I did play the two Uncharted games, which were mercifully short, and I will probably play Uncharted 3 assuming the reviews are as glowing as the first two. 
 
Both honestly, MW2 was pretty awesome. Very linear though, I pre-ordered both because Battlefield 3 looks super amazing and I want to see how Modern Warfare ends. Also online for both is awesome, I was hooked on MW2 for awhile.
 
That's a hard one. I am expecting a lot from Bad Co 3. It is supposed to be new and super cool, and with bigger maps, suits my game play a little better. COD, I hear, is more like an expansion pack for MW2. I rarely play the campaigns, so its the online play that I like. Infinity Ward did a horrible job of patching MW2, so I don't have high hopes for MW3. (And, yes, I know it isn't 'infinity ward' in name, but that crowd that makes the Modern Warfare games are a bunch of fuckers and won't get another dime from my pocket. ) 
 
I think I get what your saying Wasted, the fans boys are worst then anything else. I talked to a COD fan in school the other day about Battlefield. He said your basically a faggot if you play Battlefield, the only good thing about is if you shoot the walls they fall down. I was like, what?
 
You will have fan boys no matter the game; Halo, COD, Gears, you name it. I'll give the COD franchise credit for creating some amazing FPS games. But I think they started believing their own hype and haven't released anything 'new' since COD 5. I'll give you better graphics and different game styles, but its just different paint on the same old house. I get tired og getting n00b t00bed from the spawn and getting sniped with a shotgun.

I'll probably get Forza 4 and skip all the FPS this year :)
 
I can't wait to burn the new Megadeth album to my Xbox, because November is gonna be one hell of a month for gaming. And Megadeth makes any game 20% cooler.
 
The only FPS I'm looking forward to is Rage. Screw MW3 and BF3. If I want online FPS multiplayer, nothing is better than Unreal Tournament.

They play exactly the same as before but they're in HD now and they look great. Still can't believe what they managed to squeeze out of the PS2.
