Kevin Costner will also be performing. When it comes to big names in Hollywood they don't come any bigger than Kevin Costner. As an actor, film producer and director, Kevin Costner has proven himself to be a multi-faceted artist. Now, as the leader of Kevin Costner & Modern West, Costner has stepped from the big screen to the concert stage with a remarkable band that is as hard working and honest as the characters he has portrayed throughout his films.

Born from a love of music and comprised of a tight knit group of long time friends, Kevin Costner & Modern West draw their influences from a broad tapestry of American music and beyond. The show itself flows from original material penned by the band to songs written by some of Kevin's famous musical friends. The band itself sprang from the roots of Costner’s very first band, Roving Boy, which had been placed on hiatus as Kevin's acting career skyrocketed. Now, some twenty years later, the core of this band, Kevin, John Coinman and Blair Forward has reunited as Kevin Costner & Modern West. Rounding out the band is lead guitarist Teddy Morgan and drummer Larry Cobb.

One element that sets Kevin Costner apart from other actor/musicians is his personal accessibility and his desire for the band to be part of the party. Costner prefers their performances be in non-seated settings—like the Cisco Ottawa Bluesfest—where the audience can literally be "within reach" of the band. Make sure you're within reach of Kevin and his band when they perform live at the 2010 Cisco Ottawa Bluesfest.

Who's going to the first gig in Dallas and is recording it for a boot to surface less than 24 hours later? Is someone doing it?

But are you recording the gig or have some 'in-source' to get a soundboard boot? If you're onto one of these, please, let us know.
