I don't think I am new at this point but I am Chris from Orlando, Florida, currently residing in Atlanta, Georgia. First saw Maiden live back in 2000 on Brave New World Tour, first album (cassette tape) I heard was Somewhere in Time and bought it at a specialty shop with my uncle in 1998 after hearing one of the songs in his car earlier. Took it home, popped it in my boom box and pressed play. BAM! I was like wow! Asked my mom if I could go back the next day and I got Powerslave next. I got the cassette too for my Sony Walkman due to not having a CD play at the time. It was magic though listening to those for the first time. Flipping the tape over and hearing The Loneliness of the Long Distance Runner. Ahhh... Brave New World would be a new album a year later in 2000 and I started getting everything Maiden I could. Never let go all these years. Friends were into Backstreet boys and crap. YUCK! Only recently acquired vinyl albums these last 3 years and bought a Jenson record player with speakers and cassette deck. My non-metal friends don't understand. I have 2 Maiden tattoos of Eddie, one on my forearm of the SIT Eddie and the left shoulder of LAD Eddie
