New album: The Final Frontier!

I think the album will be all over the net only on Friday 13th as it'll be the first day the album will start being sold. I think this time, there'll be no leak.

It will leak sometime after Monday but before the 13th, I think. I'd like to think anyway.
 
The anticipation of a leak is an experience in itself... I remember waiting for Star Wars Revenge of the Sith to leak in DVI, and I watched in its entirety 2 days before it was released to the theaters... I ended up getting a cease and desist letter from my local cable provider at the time.. Scared me shitless, they even sited Lucasfilm in the letter to tell me they were serious.. In hindsight, it kind of ruined the movie theater experience. I know its different, but..... Im having second thoughts on listening when its leaked - AND IT WILL BE LEAKED COME HELL OR HIGHWATER.

That said, this is huge for all of us and I think it says something about how we all are drawn in to the experince that is Maiden.. Been listening since TNOTB came out and I still, at the ripe old age of 41, aml as excited now as when I was a young buck.. That says something.
 
If you truly love Maiden...they are truly entrenched in your heart...if you feel that level of passion for their music...seeing them live...a chance meeting and a handshake with one of them....any experience at all...and there are precious few out there that feel it like that....then it doesn't matter how young or old you are. Waiting for an album will always be a bittersweet mix of anguish and excitement. I'm 38, and it's the same every album....the wait get's REALLY intense....and I hardly feel like a man even half my age. It certainly sparks some of the youth that remains inside of you!
 
As I said, place your bets on someone else, man. :lol: I'll buy the album on the August 16th, and I and a friend even arranged all together today to actually ride on his car to the nearest city with a cd store to buy it.

Yep...and your friends will look at you suspiciously as you accidentally find yourself singing along with the song, the "first" time you all hear it. ;)
 
i've never listened to a leak so I won't have any problems with this one. The wait for the new Kiss album was worse, I remember there was no info til a month prior to the release and they did all these ploys to raise the anticapation such as a new website, statements from every band member that were supposed to be leading up to some info about the album (album title, cover etc) with nothing happening, and Paul Stanley rambling about how awesome it will be. The wait was worth it and makes tff wait seemshort
 
Only on The Final Frontier and El Dorado I'll be capable of doing this... I hope. Ahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahah... :lol:

Info about the greek edition of The Final Frontier - "Update: The 32 pages booklet will be separate from the digipack cd, and at bigger size than a regular cd booklet. So we are talking about a book release with the cd as extra".

So, it might be the comic book Melvyn Grant was asked and kinda hinted on the interview. Plus, there's lots of Eddie's sketches on the vinyl inside that already makes a graphic tale. This special booklet might be a complete tale with graphics.
