New album: The Final Frontier!

I just found out (on play.com) that the album will be released in "limited edition" format, too. Maybe with some "making of" dvd as it was for AMOLAD? We'll see...
 
From a user of IMOC: "Listening to Nicko on this radio interview he was on this afternoon (North American Eastern Time) he said "The new album is coming out this September, boys 'n' girls, and was recorded in the exact same studio as 'Piece of Mind'. We figured, Steve lives there, I live in Florida, and Davey in Hawaii, so why not? (Laughs)"

6th or 13th September, my guesses. I think it'll be on the 6th, but I hope for the 13th as is my birthday. :D
 
Uh guys, German Rock Hard Magazine lists the release date as 27. August, and I thought everybody knew that already...

Didn't we just go over this in some other thread? Different countries get different release dates.

Further: there are multiple sources for the date Aug. 27.

Even more: Nicko's a great guy, but he says a lot, and there's a track record of Nicko often being wrong, even about his own band.

And most importantly: in before the obligatory Mission From Arry quote.
 
The official release date for any Iron Maiden release is the U.K. DATE. Also, here in Brasil I buy Iron Maiden albums on the official U.K. date since No Prayer For The Dying (and probably it was always like this since The Number Of The Beast or Piece Of Mind). Now, we got over this.

It's a fact, dude. I'm not trying to convince you of anything. Go to the official website and see the dates (just dismiss Somewhere In Time release date which is wrong there. It's September 29th 1986, not June 29th 1986). Japan is the first place to get the releases, in Europe is assume is like two days before or after the U.K. date, and in the U.S.A. it's like 2 weeks to one month later.

Go check it out.

These are different dates. I guess some of us are focussed on that aspect.

The hell it is. I bought the album the day it came out, and I distinctly recall that it was June.
 
Personally I am sick to hell of this total information blackout on the
album  :mad:

Its getting damn annoying now...NOTHING, NOTHING and more NOTHING.
Im not asking for Metallica style clips in the studio or anything, but My God,
tracklisting, album artwork, Caveman diary, SOMMMMETHIIIIIIIING.

I know we are near the start of the tour, and as I am currently living in Hong Kong,
they arent anywhere even near me, so I will have to make do with shaky youtube clips
of the new song....GREAT!
They should release a little something to whet our appetites, NOT a clip of fear of the dark
on the website from Flight 666, which Im sure we all have.

It better be a feckin amazing album.
Come on Maiden. don't leave your loyal fans hanging like this

I, on the other hand, have no concerns, despite also, I won't be able to go to the concert. I'm patiently waiting the tour, upon which I will download the album-quality soundboard bootleg that will surface within 24 hours, and hear a mostly clear version of the new song. And I'll wait for the album to come out whenever. I don't need information now now NOW NOW NOW!
