Missed H's Wristband

Attended Maiden last night at Blossom in Cleveland and it FUCKING ROCKED! Front row behind the pit, great fucking show!!!

Anyway, at the end of the concert, all the members threw items of theirs into the crowd. Bruce threw his hat, Nicko a bunch of sticks, etc. I thought they were done so I turned around to look at the crowd and when I turn back around H's fucking wristband flies by my face!!!

I turn around and see it lands next to a guy who reaches down to grab it, so I decide, out of kindness, not to rush in and grab it even though I could have considering the man's level of drunkenness. I decide to just let him have it, when some OTHER FUCKER reaches in and grabs it before he does!! And after he does that, THEY SHAKE HANDS!!! As if the drunk guy didn't mind him taking it!

That could've been me but I had to be fucking nice!

I assume it's only a wristband of a band member... even though I am a big fan of Maiden, I'm maybe pushing it into idolization. Still, somebody comfort me  :(
 
You did the right thing, imo.  Just because the dude took it well and shook hands with the other dude, doesn't mean it would have gone the same way if you'd have grabbed.  It's just a wristband.  You got to see them live very close, and that in itself should be enough.
 
Yeah it was the wristband he wore for the concert.

It's really not a big deal, I just would have been much happier if the guy who really SHOULD have gotten it got it.
 
I'm a bad man. I'd have fought tooth and nail for it. Then again, Adrian Smith is my all time favourite person in the world ever.
