I remember reading a biography on Metallica, and it said that the standout track of Death Magnetic was The Unforgiven III. Needless to say I didn't pay any attention to it after that. :smartarse:

The three worthwhile songs on DM imo are The End of the Line, All Nightmare Long, and Cyanide.

I was reading some book on Metallica, and I sort of lost interest after it said Kirk Hammett is a better guitarist than Dave Mustaine.  The book also didn't know that For Whom the Bell Tolls was based on the book of the same name, and took the chance to diss Slayer and Megadeth whenever it could.

I would trade out The End of the Line for That Was Just Your Life.
