This was the first time in years that I've listened to 'Youthanasia' in full and, on reflection, it's actually a much better album than I gave it credit for. Oh, by the way, Yulia Tymoshenko totally got her "Heroes never die" line from 'Blood of Heroes;.

Youthanasia is awesome. It's not thrash but it's damn good heavy metal. Probably catchiest Megadeth album.

It's definitely got the catchiest material, but also a lot of real mediocre/bad songs (see above votes). It's a very uneven album in terms of quality.

I second this. 'Youthanasia' in not only by far the best Megadeth album, it's also one of my favourite Metal albums.
