I haven't followed this thread that well but I remember this and have a question about it:

When you said this on the 17th of June, did you mean with last two shows:

A.
JUNE 16 Sofia, Bulgaria
JUNE 17 Belgrade, Serbia

or:

B.
JUNE 14 Nova Rock Festival, Nickelsdorf, Austria
JUNE 16 Sofia, Bulgaria


In other words, which was the first gig in which they removed Wrathchild?

And: was the rest of the tour's set consistent? No more reappearance(s) of Wrathchild or any other change in the set?
 
Not sure if this is new news or not, but considering what Bruce mentioned on stage last night, this seems to make sense.
I googled "new album for maiden" today, and a site called metal underground.com is running a story of Maiden re-recording their first two albums featuring Bruce only on lead vocals! They also say the new album will be released as well in. 2015 and it's title is called Powerslave 2...

I'm so excited! Powerslave is my favorite album!!!! They have a lot to live up to!
How ironic, though.... Everyone seems to be complaining about how they keep doing the same things over (songs, set lists ), and yet, hearing the news about them redoing the first 2 albums and returning to the Egyptian theme along with space elements has me jumping for joy!

I just hope they return with a kickass stage like they had in the '80s... Actual 3d props and not just painted sheets draped over everything! :)

Bruce needs to grow the hair back and pull the tube socks over his spandex pants along with high top tennis shoes!
Doing all that enhances his stage presence!.

It's funny about Adrian's mullet.... Back in 1988 they came to my hometown of New Orleans. A bunch of us were waiting to try and meet Ace Frehley behind the UNO arena(he was opening), lo and behold a bus pulls up to the rear door and all of Maiden walk out right in front of us. I tried to get autographs but a cop grabbed me by my neck! Anyways, when Adrian walked by, we all were wondering who the new member was. Back then there was no internet so the only thing I had to go by were the images on Powerslave and Live after Death. He looked totally unrecognizable with the mullet!
