Maiden new album in 2014

Pretty sure Maiden don't realize that SIT is so popular with fans. I really doubt they'd ever bring back anything other than HCW and Wasted Years, let alone play the whole thing live.

Yeah I'm pretty sure they don't...

Actually Maiden's own awareness of their own catalog sometimes surprises me...but then again, they're not fans of it like we are...they make music and move on to new music...Like when Bruce gets the year wrong for when they made Number of The Beast or whatever I'm like what?! Surely he must know but.......They just don't care like the fans do :D

If it was a history tour, I'd be kinda interested to see how much from 1990-1998 they did. A few songs I can think of that would make it?

Be Quick or Be Dead
Fear of the Dark
Afraid to Shoot Stranger
Man on the Edge
Futureal
Clansman
Sign of the Cross

Honestly, No Prayer is the only album I can't think of songs they've done on subsequent tours. Anyone? Maybe Tailgunner? I dunno. Substandard album quality.

Maybe from here to the eternety, but i think there will be more blaze songs singed by Bruce like The edge of darkness. But as the tour should be reflected on a reléase of live at donington 1992, the set list would be like that one, heaven can wait for sure.

If there is going to be a 90's tour we would expect,
Bring Your Daughter... To the Slaughter
Afraid to shoot Strangers
Fear of the Dark
Sign of the Cross
Man on the Edge
Lord of the Flies
The Clansman
And if they don't play any of those above that I listed, I will be really surprised

I think you are right in picking those songs ; maybe I would add Tailgunner. And I'd LOVE to hear No Prayer for the Dying again : this is really a great song.

Is anyone on here actually in the fan club? I'd be interested to know what else was said in the magazine interview.

Exactly, we'll get all of the same songs we've already heard live, and that have been released on live albums. It'd be good to hear those Blaze songs again, though. I think it's time Futureal got brought back.

I'm in the fan club and I have the magazine. What would you like to know?
I guess we're all just curious as to how specific Rod was about the band's future plans, and the way they're running things these days!

So the interview was mainly based around Maiden England 2013, Donington and why they didn't use Ed Force One. But there was one question asked about the bands plan after Maiden England 2013. To which Rod replied, "Don't even ask that question [laughs] Goodbye!" and that's the end. So Rod apparently does not know. But earlier in the interview he says that they plan really far ahead in terms of touring. So I guess he's not sharing.

If its like mentioned a 90s tour (although i feel like itl be a SIT themed tour, Wasted years/Heaven Can Wait/Stranger In A Strange Land/Caught Somewhere In Time/Sea Of Madness all could be played from that album and add Alexander The Great if they want to) then its clear which Blaze songs will be in, Futureal/Sign Of The Cross/Man On The Edge/Clansman/Lord of the Flies, as for final 2 brucie, Afraid To Shoot Strangers, Be Quick Or Be Dead,Bring Your Daughter To The Slaughter, Tailgunner, Fear Of The Dark and Public enema No 1 (pure hope). Thats 11 specific for that era, plus the standard FOTD is 12. Add you hits like Run To The Hills, The Number Of The Beast, Iron Maiden, Trooper etc you got youself a history tour for the 90s. My honest opinion, i doubt theyve been working on another history dvd so im guessing it will be SIT themed tour.

Seriously, why do you think this is going to happen? A SiT themed tour would be excellent, indeed; but why would they be doing this (next)? What's it got to do with the 90's? (--other than nothing...)

I highly doubt an SiT themed tour is going to happen. I will be extremely surprised and happy if it did but it probably won't.
