I don't blame them, the place is creepy.
 
Göteborg - I'm going there for the first time in September. Am unlikely to visit the metal scene, as I will be going with the girlfriend & her family.
 
Sent my boots off to get them resoled and discovered today that the parcel was not delivered and returned to the depot. It's the only place in the country I could find that resolve DMs so I'm not happy that they are not in the shop being worked on.
 
It's not so easy to get any shoes resoled. So many shoes are made with a sole unit that can't easily be replaced, plus there are very cheap shoes on the market, that there's not much trade for cobblers now.
 
It worked out cheaper to resole them than get a new pair. By more than half the price. The rest of the boot is fine.

It's already known as a fact that the British royal family are lizards and the Duke of Edinburgh is keeping a check on the human race killing off a load of us through "natural disasters" to stop overpopulation.

It is working out well ... I had a 21" and 24" monitor before. I kept the 24" as a second monitor and use that for email. On the new 34", I have a small strip on the left hand side for icons, then a section for PuTTY connections (linux work), then a section for SQL Management Studio, then a section for my browser, and a section if I need to bring up documents, a second browser, watch a movie, whatever .. then a strip on the right for various chat programs our clients use.

Really cool, part of my work is run something, wait for it to finish, wait for something else .. now I can do something else while waiting without having to keep flipping back and forth. I think it will help me get more done quicker/ I can more easily work on 2 clients at once and double bill some of my time.

... and I hooked up a blu ray player to it and watched part of Empire Strikes Back last night, looks incredible.

I might save up a bit and get a dual HDMI video card and another one of these later this year.
