"Gotten out" you're making it sound like a prison Emerald :lol: It's the last day of school here too. The town is full of dressed up and drunk 9 and 10th graders who are about to take their exams in the next couple of weeks.
 
Oh yes, it is the same here. The lower classes continue until the end of June sometime. it is only the exam classes that break now for exams and stuff! They're out in the town dressed up and drunk :D

By the way, there's some serious stuff going on in Turkey. The government wanted to cut down the trees in the park in famous Taksim Square to build shopping centres etc., many people are trying to protect the trees and police is using excessive force on them. Not just environmental activists, politicians, artists everyone. Many people are injured. The way police handles it is a disgrace. Injuring people by using plastic bullets, gas bombs, pepper spray etc. They injure people who just stand there, they have an incredibly amount of paranoia and hatred towards people. It's absolutely horrible, Taksim Square is like a battlefield these days. It's of course much more than just the park or trees, it's also about the extensive force usage of police for months and the angst people feel towards the government.

These dark days will never end until the dictatorship of Erdoğan ends. He's been committing many freudian slips these days, referring to himself as president (başkan) rather than prime minister (başbakan). He wants a system similar to American presendential system to be dominate even more.
 
So the Museum of Islamic Art in Berlin is currently displaying a miniature from an historical Persian or Ottoman manuscript that shows a man having sex with a monkey.
