If I recall correctly, Heinlein surmised that the number of the beast was originally Zeta Zeta Zeta; which would actually be 6 to the 6th power and that number again to the 6th power. That number would represent the total of all parallel universes that are accessible from our own.

In commemoration to this momentus occasion of reaching page 666, I sacrifised several goats, drank thier blood, and ran naked down my local high street chanting "I AM ZEUS!"
Now, i expect you all to out-do me. Muhaha.
On a lighter note, i think im gonna go see my dad in scotland soon.
Im more than tempted to don a Kilt, and just sing "The Clansman" non stop for the duration of my visit.

I don't think it is possible to out do that.

When I was at school - whilst abysmal failing at A level art - I tried to paint a picture depicting the beast as described in Revelations. Didn't quite look like the picture Perun posted, I seem to recall it had serpents as it's tongues for a start!
I remember digging it out only a few years ago and I must admit, it didn't look too bad. Shame I never actually completed it.
