Passed my exam on Old- and Middle Persian literature with 56 of 60 points (grade: 1,3 or "A" or "Very Good"). Given my continuous mistreatment of the subject during my studying phase, Zarathustra would turn in his grave - but it's perfect for me!

56 out of 60? Do you know what ones you got wrong? (or are they marked by an independent body and you will never know?). It would be a real stinker if the ones you got wrong were ones you really should have known.

Good job, anyway. :ok:

Well done good buddy!  I'm happy to hear it, you'll be an Iranianiker before too long!

Iranist is the German word for Iranologist. ;)

Unfortunately not. They were essay questions, and I can't find my question sheet. But I guess they were just a couple of random facts I missed.

The final mark on the course is however also dependent of my contributions during the lectures (which were pretty much top) and my thesis (which I haven't heard anything on yet). But I'm pretty positive on this now.

I just noticed we're coming up on page 666 here. I expect you all to prepare your Number Of The Beast jokes in advance and make that page a Hall Of Fame page.

Had a lecture with 80 people crammed into a room with, at best, 40 seats. And then I had a course in the institute for Economic Sciences, and sat at a table with penises drawn all over it and "Eckonomy" written on it. Elite university, my arse.

It doesn't get that hot, actually... and there's enough windows to open. There are two or three days at max in the summer when it's hard to bear.
