Oh, you'll get 'em!

I like the story so far.  To be honest, I know the Lone Ranger mythology, but I don't know a lot of details.  So far, I like the back story you have developed here-- is there any basis in fact here? (sorry, I really don't know)  I got a late start reading tonite, but I like how Bat Masterson has showed up. 

More as I get farther into it. 

Side note-- any more on the story from Transformatorium? 
 
That story is on the back-burner for now.  I've been really pushing the Lone Ranger one.

There's very little basis in fact for the legend of the Lone Ranger.  In fact, trying to make him fit into history nicely has been very difficult.  I've been slowly putting everything together, every part of his mythos, though it won't actually be fully complete until the next book (if there is one).
 
Yeah, that makes sense. 

I like the way you have done it, fitting him into 'real' history.  It makes you stop and think "did that really happen that way"?
 
Priest tonight. To be precise, Priest/Megadeth/Testament tonight.

Although I must admit I'm not really in the mood. I tried to build it up all day by listening to some classic Megadeth and Priest's latest album, but somehow, the spark won't light. The reason is that I'm really, really tired. The end of the semester dragged out for so long (two weeks beyond regular end) and was so grinding, and those exams consumed so much of my energy that I'm simply burnt out. I even considered selling my ticket at the venue, but I'm going to regret it if I don't go.
 
I had no idea it could happen, but there actually is someone who is even more egotistical than Yngwie - and he's a Swede as well (must be something in the water :D).

Zlatan... He's an arse. But even he can't top Yngwie, sorry. Zlatan doesn't throw guitars at drummers heads.

Nice. I'm going to see Bigelf tonight. Imagine the bastard child of Sabbath, Beatles, Queen and ELP - played by 4 dudes from Los Angeles. Best new band I've heard in years. I can't fucking wait.

Didn't he refuse to play for Sweden a few years back because he thought they were beneath him - or something like that?

OK, he may not be as a big an egotist as Yngwie, but he does have a rather inflated ego - and hoard of "yes men" pandering to his every need.



That said, he is a good player.
 
I love sports, but athletes drive me crazy.  There are a few out there that are just, hands down, awesome players and don't have an ego.  But, most of them seem like assholes.

I went last week and Megadeth were definitely the higlight for me, but a great gig all round.

Not today... i try to not read at work, honestly... i'll read tonite.  Last night, I got interrupted, cause my ex couldn't pick up my son from the basketball game-- so I was out driving around at 1145.

It's fun.  The lead guy is pretty cool -- he's a spy.  The chick is ok, she is former IRA. 

It's something to do at night.
