No, Dance of Death! Nat said she'll do it in German so we're gonna try get a little collection.  :D

Here, I translated it from Swedish into North American:

Let me tell you a story to chill the bones
About a thing that I saw
One night wandering in the everglades
I'd one drink but no more

I was rambling, enjoying the bright moonlight
Gazing up at the stars
Not aware of a presence so near to me
Watching my every move

Feeling scared and I fell to my knees
As something rushed me from the trees
Took me to an unholy place
And that is where I fell from grace

Then they summoned me over to join in with them
To the dance of the dead
Into the circle of fire I followed them
Into the middle I was led

As if time had stopped still I was numb with fear
But still I wanted to go
And the blaze of the fire did no hurt upon me
As I walked onto the coals

And I felt I was in a trance
And my spirit was lifted from me
And if only someone had the chance
To witness what happened to me

And I danced and I pranced and I sang with them
All had death in their eyes
Lifeless figures they were undead all of them
They had ascended from hell

As I danced with the dead
My free spirit was laughing and howling down at me
Below my undead body
Just danced the circle of dead
Until the time came to reunite us both
My spirit came back down to me
I didn't know if I was alive or dead
As the others all joined in with me

By luck then a skirmish started
And took the attention away from me
When they took their gaze from me
Was the moment that I fled

I ran like hell faster than the wind
But behind I did not glance
One thing that I did not dare
Was to look just straight ahead

When you know that your time has come around
You know you'll be prepared for it
Say your last goodbyes to everyone
Drink and say a prayer for it

When you're lying in your sleep, when you're lying in your bed
And you wake from your dreams to go dancing with the dead
When you're lying in your sleep, when you're lying in your bed
And you wake from your dreams to go dancing with the dead

To this day I guess I'll never know
Just why they let me go
But I'll never go dancing no more
'Til I dance with the dead

I have been without a land-line phone for 5 days now. How crap is that? Contractors, apparently, ripped up some cables they should not have done whilst preparing to demolish an old pub down the road.

Contractors... My grandma isn't too fond of them: They went nuts on the windows belonging to the apartment complex she lives in to replace parts of them - Before, they had two glass windows - After, just one glass. Oh, and did they restuff the window sides? No. So everybody's freezing to death in the winter.

Alright, Yax. It took me two and a half hours to do this. Enjoy or die.

(And for those in doubt, this is Dance of Death in Persian.)

There are lyrics that are easy to translate. And there are lyrics that are hard to translate. This was friggin' atrocious! Somehow, I feel that you can count all the normal tenses and conjugations used in that song on one hand. Not to mention that the Persians don't use passive. So I had to find a way around that. And I hate the past tenses. In past tense relative sentences, you have to use Conjunctive II and that one is a real bitch. And there are so. many. past. tense. relative. sentences. in that song.

Try these Per (but maybe don't spread them (on pamflets) in Iran ;) ):

Seif al Din

The origin of a dogma
Placed in a new millennium
Vilified demons have been embraced
And given a warm welcome

The Seif al Din
Hasn't got the ghost of a chance to rust
Because it has always been kept in shape
In serving the one Almighty

The rudiments have always been misinterpreted during history,
despite the good intentions of many disciples who's faithful believe was strong and unswayed.
Most leaders interpret the old words to their
advantage in the attempt of gaining leadership and power
over those unfortunate enough to fall under their maliciousness and manipulative ways.
This misuse of trust will forever stain the pages of history,
echoing the exploitation and the frailty of decent
men carried away by nurtured rancour...

Perpetual distrust fed by a belief
In the malevolence of the others

When the beautiful unreality holds out its hand
It's better not to lose yourself in blind faith

La Illah Illallah, Mohammed rasul Allah

I had the impression that triple glazed windows was the norm in Sweden - at least that is what we have been told. Every year when the cold snap comes, we have a comparison on how other countries cope and cite Sweden as a good example, especially as they have well insulated walls as well.

No I think two glazed windows is standard. That's at least what I have. Though you are perfectly right about the walls.   :P

Per: Holy shit! I'm impressed.

I know a Swede in Montreal this year.  And let me tell you...a Swede has nothing on a Canadian when it comes to dealing with the cold.

I know, and especially not in the past ten years.

Edit: Do you mean as in Canadians are better at isolating their houses and such, or that you have a colder climate?

Face it, the Southern English are crappiest at coping with cold.
My cousin just got herself an English boyfriend, and since they live 25 meters away, I get to speak a bit of English on my free time too.  :ok:

You mean insulating.  And the answer is both.  We have warmer houses and a much colder climate than urban Sweden.
