Here, I translated it from Swedish into North American:
Let me tell you a story to chill the bones
About a thing that I saw
One night wandering in the everglades
I'd one drink but no more
I was rambling, enjoying the bright moonlight
Gazing up at the stars
Not aware of a presence so near to me
Watching my every move
Feeling scared and I fell to my knees
As something rushed me from the trees

Then they summoned me over to join in with them

Into the middle I was led
As if time had stopped still I was numb with fear
But still I wanted to go
And the blaze of the fire did no hurt upon me

And I felt I was in a trance
And my spirit was lifted from me
And if only someone had the chance
To witness what happened to me
And I danced and I pranced and I sang with them
All had death in their eyes
Lifeless figures they were undead all of them
They had ascended from hell
As I danced with the dead
My free spirit was laughing and howling down at me
Below my undead body
Just danced the circle of dead
Until the time came to reunite us both
My spirit came back down to me
I didn't know if I was alive or dead
As the others all joined in with me
By luck then a skirmish started
And took the attention away from me
When they took their gaze from me
Was the moment that I fled
I ran like hell faster than the wind
But behind I did not glance
One thing that I did not dare
Was to look just straight ahead
When you know that your time has come around
You know you'll be prepared for it
Say your last goodbyes to everyone
Drink and say a prayer for it
When you're lying in your sleep, when you're lying in your bed
And you wake from your dreams to go dancing with the dead

Contractors... My grandma isn't too fond of them: They went nuts on the windows belonging to the apartment complex she lives in to replace parts of them - Before, they had two glass windows - After, just one glass. بیا به یک حکایت که استخوانهایت منجمد می شود دربارهّ چیزی که دیدم

از وقت بیستد از ترس کرخ بودم اما علی رغم این خواستم رفته باشم
و شعله ها به من را درد نکردند که روی جغالها گزشتم
بعد حس کردم که در نشهّ بودم و روحم از بدنم بلا رفتند
کاش کسی بخت داشته باشد می بیند چی به من اتفاق افتاده
و رقصیدم و پریدم و با آنها خواندیدم، همکس مرد در چشمهایشان دارند
شکل بی زندگی همکس نامرد بودند، از جهنم بلا رفته اند
که با مردان رقصیدم روح آزادیم پایین به من می خندیدد وهق و هق گریه می کرد
زیر آن بدن نامردم فقط دایر مارد را رقصید
تا وقت آمد که توانستیم همدیگررا دوبره متحد کرد باشد، روحم به من برگشت
ندانستم که زنده و مرده بودم، چون دیگران با من مصل کردند
خوشبختانه بعد یک کشمکش شرو کرد، آن توجه را از من داشت
وقتی که نگاه شان را از من داشتند احظه بود که گریجتم
فوریتر از باد دویدم اما پشته من نگاه نکرده ام
چیزی که جراُت نکردم تنها به جلوی من کردن را بود

Wow, Perun.
There are lyrics that are easy to translate. And there are lyrics that are hard to translate. This was friggin' atrocious! Somehow, I feel that you can count all the normal tenses and conjugations used in that song on one hand. Not to mention that the Persians don't use passive. So I had to find a way around that. And I hate the past tenses. In past tense relative sentences, you have to use Conjunctive II and that one is a real bitch. And there are so. many. past. tense. relative. sentences. in that song.

Keeping an open eye on the Weeping Angels.
I had the impression that triple glazed windows was the norm in Sweden - at least that is what we have been told. Every year when the cold snap comes, we have a comparison on how other countries cope and cite Sweden as a good example, especially as they have well insulated walls as well.Yax said:
