I never got a chance to listen to boneyard before, but I did love buzzsaw!  I like both ideas: start a petition to return buzzsaw and drop boneyard, and start HMFM, with tunes from all of our libraries!!!  That would be a wicked bad station!

I'm hoping that Boneyard will be good, once they start it. I'm sick and tired of this ACDC Radio shite.

I like AC/DC - very much - but I think a person would have to be psychotic to listen to hours and hours of nonstop AC/DC. Maybe if it was all Bon Scott material I could handle it, but not Brian Johnson.

I've heard Boneyard before; it's an immigrant from XM and clearly the weaker of the 2 stations although with a similar format. They do not tend to play as deep of cuts and play more new alternative/metal-rap shit. I can promise you both that you will not like it as much.

HMFM stands for Heavy Metal FM, of course.  It'd be a great plug for the website, too.

Do you know how to get an internet radio station up and going LC? Who gets to be the DJs?
Great idea!!  how hard is it to steam internet radio?

I'm guessing no harder than it is to steam broccoli.

Ha ha!! ok, 'stream' not 'steam'.... tho, I've never steamed veggies either.

STole this from another forum...

Sometimes, if the night is clear enough, I can see those (London's) fireworks from my street.

OH, bummer.  Wonder why.

Its a pic of Big Ben (?) on New Year's eve, when they are shooting off fire works.  I think its kinda cool.

I bet that is cool!!!

It is. However, when they turned on the Christmas lights in my town, they let off a load of fireworks. The night was so foggy, we could barely see them 200 yards away. Like I say, it has to be a clear night. :D

Hey kids, there's Big Ben.... Parliment....
That was funny that bit. Going round and round and round.

The other bit that made me laugh:

"Where's the streering wheel?"

As for foggy nights - shed loads. We are experiencing dense fog now.

Sounds great!  I have some Blue Moon chilling right now... give me something to do while watching some NFL.
