I'm almost finished watching the Palin vs Biden debate. Palin was better than expected, but I believe Biden could have crushed her if he'd remarked on her "competence" and her policies more, but he probably chose not to, since that could give her sympathy and label him as sexist.
Furthermore, she's dodging for some topics, changing them when she feels she can't get anywhere. And please, give her MORE papers, how could she look less at them? When he points out the similarities between McCain's and Bush's policies she keeps saying "stop pointing fingers". That's a bad way to deal with it, but overall a better performance than expected.
Joe Biden was great, spoke clearly (I have a few remarks on his debatetechnique at times, but he's the professional) and was overall great. I believe he was a fine choice.
Edit: Also funny, as SMX said, that she keeps babbling on about McCain being a He Who Must Not Be Named - When she also says he votes with the party line 96% of the time.
