Wroclaw is getting hotter. On sunday it may be even over 40 - that will be highest temperature in last 105 years here. Thank god that this will probably be the end of it.

I'm surprised too that they've seemingly abandoned ship. Or perhaps they're still lurking in the shadows, just waiting for one of us - well, me - to make a grave mistake so they can unleash their power.

I guess, so far, we've been censoring ourselves a bit to stay in our lane.

Wonder if there's a mods only splinter forum. Who polices the police over there? Never considered the social experiment angle. Could be. Maybe they start new profiles in here and troll their enemies.

What would they make of the progress, I wonder? The place certainly seems less vitriolic than it was a few months ago. Or maybe I've just stopped following the politics threads, maybe it's still a vomit fest in there.

But yes, pretty much every major contributor when I joined 10yrs ago is gone or contributes way less. Feels like that, anyway.

I can guarantee you that if they're not spending constructive time here, they're definitely not creating accounts to troll the trolls.

I think it's just much less busy, which means there is also less vitriol. Unfortunately, the majority of the business around here has devolved into either negativity around Maiden ("Simon sucks, they're definitely retiring, Dave hates playing in the band, Bruce can't sing") or political garbage.

Life happens, people outgrow things, etc. I get it. The games were the majority of my interest around here as they usually involved some actual conversations and real debates about music.

And that by that point I had barely posted on the forum, hadn't posted any political content and wrote almost exclusively in the Senjutsu threads, I can safely say that whatever's happening cannot be blamed on me.
