The beaches of the North Sea in Germany suck for swimming, but they are lovely for walks along the shore, feeling the stormy winds.

In Greece I'd spend a good 4-6 hours daily swimming and floating lazily in the waters. Those were great times.

Watching a group of people, presumably adults, who, from what I can tell, have very little to no power to directly change the world’s ills and hold no political office themselves constantly nitpick, navel gaze, pedantically argue and berate one another to the point where they must be admonished like schoolchildren makes me moderately sad.

Therefore, I shall start a discussion of utmost sincerity and positivity. Moderators, please hear my entreaty to keep that thread pure of negativity.

A statement, followed by a question, then a statement.

Edit: I posted a response that was sarcastic. It didn’t sit right with me because it felt like I was “punching down.”

I understand that not everyone receives levity as it’s intended to be received, and this may elicit an emotional response in some people who simply cannot help but to express their frustration aggressively.

I’ve no ill will toward you my friend.

Perun's Back

Perun is back
He’s off the rack
It’s been too long, I'm glad that he’s back
Yes, let him loose
He’s the golden goose
That keeps Maidenfans about
He'll be looking at the stage screen during Rime
'Cause it'll get him feel high
Forget the Politics threads that’ll never die
It’s got nine lives

Forum rules, alright
Abusin' every one of them and running wild

'Cause he’s back
Yes, he’s back
Well, he’s back
Yes, he'll (always) be back
Well, he’s back, back
Well, he’s back in black
Yes, he’s back in black

Back in the thread
that makes Yax want to eat lead
Per's number one without the mullet, he’s isn’t a hack
Yes, he’s in the pit
Adrian plays a lick
Forum friends got to catch a museum if they want to hang
'Cause he’s back off the rack
And he is takin no flack
Nobody's gonna stop his foot, when it taps
So look at Powerslave
Dave just makin' his play
Bruce, don't try n' push your luck, just get Acesout of the way

'Cause I'm back
Yes, I'm back
Well, I'm back
Yes, I'll (always) be back
Well, I'm back, back
Well, I'm back in black
Yes, I'm back on track

What do you mean I can't be the President of United States of America? Its "We the people", right?

Heh, the individual lines of that song are okay, cool even, sometimes, but taken together (especially the verses, the ... uh, bridge I guess and the chanting of the chorus between one another) it's just bizarre, like
"how much coke have you had, Dave?"
"Yes."

Welcome to the board!

Who is your favorite Maiden guitarist is?
Top 3 Maiden albums, top 3 songs written by Steve Harris, top 3 drum fills from those song, top 3 audio mixing issues within those songs?
On my copy of AMOLAD the album starts with what sounds like a drunk guy yelling outside the studio. I can't believe they left that in, pure laziness.
