The other day I walk into my colleague's office and while we're engaged in conversation I notice someone quite visibly drew a penis and a vagina on a whiteboard otherwise filled with transliterations from an ancient language there. I point it out to my colleague, and the conversation went something like this:
Colleague: Oh yeah, the ex-gf of [other guy who works in the office but wasn't present at the time] drew that.
Me: Don't you think it's a little inappropriate?
Colleague: Dunno, I guess so?
Me: *says nothing but looks at him meaningfully*
Colleague: I mean yeah, we get students in here regularly.
Me: *says nothing but looks at him meaningfully*
Colleague: And I guess it's not all that good that that part of the whiteboard is located right next to where the student would be sitting at the desk here.
Me: *says nothing but looks at him meaningfully*
Colleague: I just don't want to be the spoilsport who removes it because of some uptight prude puritanism, I mean it's just in good fun.
