I remember reading somewhere that he accidentally dedicated Anarchy In The UK to the IRA in a gig in Belfast once, and had to be driven around in an armoured vehicle for the rest of the tour...

I seem to recall something like that as well.

Oh well, Dave and his big mouth. :D
I did something yesterday that I have solemnly vowed to never attempt again - to change the taps on my bath. If anyone has attempted this before, they may well sympathise.

Me and some friends waited outside Megadeth's and Testament's tourbusses yesterday (we hoped to catch Priest, we thought the black busses were Priests but they were just the roadies). We saw Dave inside alone, watching TV. We looked a couple of times to see if he'd come out and sign stuff, but no, he looked at me like "go away you fucktard".  :D

That has to suck-- doesn't sound fun at all to me.
What made it so f'ing hard was to get a good angle on the spanner to tighten the nut that secured the hot water tap to the mains water supply. Yeah, OK the cold tap was OK, but the hot was a complete nightmare. Had the wall that the bath backed onto not being present, the job will have been done in FIVE minutes - not kidding, FIVE minutes. Instead it took me 4 hours.

AND, AND I missed most of the England v Ireland 6 nations match. I only caught the odd moment whilst taking a breather between attempts at tightening the most elusive of all nuts.

But I'm over it now. :D

Well then, you know what to do next time - take out the fucking wall.

*sends Albie a sledgehammer*

I have a well.  About 4 years ago, I woke up to no water, and couldn't figure it out.. then it became clear that the well pump burned out.  So, paying Saturday labor, $1300 later, I had a new pump installed.  Hafta be careful, cause if the pump gets over used, it pops a breaker of some sort, and turns off-- like when the kids made a slip and slide in the back yard-- then you have to crawl through the crawl space, to the pump switch, and turn it back on.  Then, bang, water all over again!!
