Thunder, lightning, the whole audience taking on a primitive feel. It rained the whole show..... everyone was completely soaked. Out on the lawn where my friends and I were, a great mudslide lane was created so people were sliding the whole time and just muddy as hell. The band, I think, really appreciated this show, they seemed happier Saturday to be playing to a US crowd than I have seen them in years.  :yey:

That is great!  It was an outstanding concert, no?  I am still pumped about it, and if they were coming anywhere close again, I'd go right now!

Oh, look, VH1 is playing the 100 greatest songs of the 80's... I haven't seen one yet, but thats what happens when I don't vote.
 
Lots of that.  Some very 'pop' stuff that I just never got into-- that 'techno' music. Dead or Alive, the Eurythmics, Salt 'n Peppa.  I did just see some Scorpions tho, Ratt and Twisted Sister (all the 80's anthems).
 
I'm thinking they will be coming up.  We are up to 30 something.  I see that Motley Crue is coming up soon.  Tho, had to wade through Bananarama to get there.

I'd pass out on the floor if there was a Maiden tune like either of those two on the show.

I was wrong earlier, we were on 60-41, but these shows rarely have anything other than some one hit wonders and some super poppy stuff.  Hell, I saw a top 100 metal songs, and poison was in the top 5, Maiden was 61st or something stupid like that.  VH1 is fun to watch at times, but some really crappy 'Best Of's'.
OH, hey, GK, don't you have a wedding coming up soon?
 
It's going good I feel great I got a gym mebership Finaly and its awsome. How things over there glad you had fun at maiden I cant wait I'm leaving for Montreal on fri and get to see them again on Sat geting my self pumped reading all these reviews!

Things are super cool, saw Maiden on Wed, took off on a motorcycle trip on friday, and didn't go back to work til today.  Have fun and Montreal, maybe you'll run into Loosecannon!
 
Mybe that would be kool. I realy wanna learn how to ride a bike I think it would be awsome but my parents think I'd kill my self lol

We are having some funky weather here.  I live right on the Mississippi river that is flooding like hell.  Actually, I just saw the town to the south of me, Quincy IL, on The Daily Show!

The bridges near me were closed for a bit, but we are now driving over many tons of gravel that they have dumped so we can get over the water to the bridge....
