Hmm, my Internet has become faster.

I hate when people have a gift exchange where they tell everyone else what they want. Especially since I'm extremely un-materialistic. I thought the idea behind Christmas and birthday presents and such was for people to not know what they're getting and be surprised.
They want to be able to give you:

1) Something you really want
2) Something you don't already have
3) Something no-one else is getting for you

Sorry if you hate that :p

It would be great if we have a thread specifically for sharing the content (or taking pictures of the pages) of every FC magazine - every new one, I suppose. For sure these magazines have interesting and curious info....(the previous editions too). :)
I'm hesitant to say that's a good idea as it's exclusive content. Giving it away for free might lead to Rod noticing Maidenfans. If there's something of particular note it usually makes it, but giving the whole thing isn't likely to be nice from copyright perspective.

managed to get a couple of loops out of it first.
I guess that can be done in a lot of aircraft if you don't care about whether it is supposed to be usable again afterwards. But there was probably some skill (and luck) involved. Luck, as I guess he did not know the correct entry speed for a loop in a Dash-8. Or knew how to pull up at 4G and not 2 or 6.

Anyway, going for the last flight of the year tomorrow. Taking the Cub out for a completely non-aerobatic flight, on what is forecast to be the first sunny day in more than three weeks.

Posting the whole magazine when it's still brand new or fairly recent is something I'd expect you to get the ban-hammer out for. I posted the card because Brig asked and because I remember someone doing the same last year and I think that's probably harmless, but I would have been uncomfortable with the idea of scanning anything in the actual magazine when it's still so new. I think we could legitimately discuss the content though, and I don't see why Rod should get his knickers in a twist about it: they've effectively put that information in the public domain by including it in the magazine even if the actual print is copyrighted (it's not like the IMFC is a secret society). Very old material, like those Blaze tour diaries that emerged a little while ago, are an altogether more grey area but I think they'd probably mind a lot less about that than the new stuff.

If Rod does notice us, we want it to be for the right reasons.

Yeah, I don't have any concerns with posting noteworthy bits. It's just if the full thing goes up right away. Old ones, whatever. It's the content people are currently paying for that I want to avoid getting uploaded en masse.
