Recently, I found out about a monotheistic religion I might even like.
I can neither remember nor pronounce its name unfortunately.
It has no scriptures because the supreme being gave the people a holy book but it was swallowed by a cow; supreme being was angry, and refused to provide a second book.
I'm not making this up, neither is it Pratchett (oh but I do wish it was), Life imitating Art, etc.

Mike Johnson of Louisiana, a close ally of President Donald Trump, sent an email from a personal email account to every House Republican soliciting signatures for an amicus brief in the longshot Texas lawsuit seeking to invalidate electoral college votes from Georgia, Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin.
The email said Trump is "anxiously awaiting the final list" to see who signs on to the amicus brief.
The amicus brief is related to an application from Texas to the Supreme Court to start a lawsuit against the states of Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin and Georgia, the four battleground states President-elect Joe Biden won in the 2020 election.
One House Republican told CNN he was put off by the Johnson email.

Bought these. Really good (just not worth the original retail price. I bought them on sale). Requires a slight EQ tweak though - 3khz up a notch and 8khz down. Snare drums for instance sound a bit harsh without it, but the frequency response is pretty linear after the tweak.

I'm surprised at how great my $5 JVC earbuds sound. But then again, I'm not even close to an audiophile type or anything like that.

Yep. At every single point until my arrival in the base I was told I may need to go home or something and come after I tested negative for covid. Now they sent me to quarantine for 24 hours, I called my commander and he said I have to stay until I "have no more symptoms". To be clear, the only reason I got on the first bus is because my parents contacted my doctor to send a permit, without even testing (to be fair, I haven't been outside at all almost).
Whatever, I was told not to search for logic here. At least they let me use my phone :P

LOL, my dad is a retired army lt. colonel of the Mexican armed forces and he says the same thing. He told me, "Son, In the army they'll put a door up and then a sign that says, 'do not open,' they'll place a bench and then a sign, 'do not sit.' " So yeah..... As Mustaine put it, "Military Intelligence, two words that don't make sense."
 
Well, yesterday evening I asked for a test because my parents are very sure it's not covid. The doctor checked if I have a fever and asked about the nature of my coughs, and determined I can go back. Went back to the company, caught up on some things, then one of the commanders called me to tell about myself and I broke down. We had a long talk and I will finally talk about this with my parents when I'm home next week. They all saw I wasn't very fine since I arrived, and have been very considerate with me, I only wish all the other people understand they're not really the mean people they have to show themselves as sometimes.
Today went fine, running was very hard because I'm not fit at all, but now I'm back in quarantine because I'm still coughing. I don't want to ruin it to all the other people there, that they won't return next week either. Being alone here sucks, especially now that it's Sabbath, but better safe than sorry imo.
