At the risk of sounding pedantic, tea doesn't actually need boiling water, just water at or near 100 degrees C: at the top of Everest water boils at about 70 degrees but the tea you can make with it is pretty grim (I've been informed ...)

Using a microwave though, it's actually possible to get it to a few degrees above 100 without it actually boiling: then when you disturb it in some way (like eg dropping a teabag into it) that reminds it what it's supposed to be doing ... :lol: I doubt you'd get it that hot in 1 minute though, and chucking that much milk into it so fast might cool it quickly enough to prevent it happening. Which would actually be quite disappointing :(

So a rock station whose FB page I follow, tipped about a live stream by the Norwegian band Vreid. I'm not really into black metal, but decided to watch and so far I'm actually enjoying it :edmetal:
