Install bus shelters/stops. Mostly in Essex, where I live, but occasionally get a bit of work outside of it. This is one of those occasions.

Yep, we're quite often replacing the glass in shelters.

Mercifully no, I don't often work nights. Although a shelter I was working by a few weeks ago had a homeless man living in it. He was probably drunk.

I know someone who used to do that very job, except he was based in Birmingham. Those shelters cost a fortune, especially the ones with fancy designs on the glass.

They certainly do. We often install pre-fab wooden ones and they cost a pretty penny too. Guaranteed for 50+ years or something, but I'd be amazed if any of them lasted that long.
