In other news, in my next flight lesson I'll get a first taste of navigation as well as landing practice. The circumstances are unfortunate, though; the airfield we operate out of have imposed stricter limitations on touch&go, meaning we can't do it there. Thus we need to fly to another airfield to practice. So in the next week I'll fly out to two different airfields.
 
Not really. It's a short flight (35-40 min) so all I'll have to do is plan some waypoints, avoiding some restricted areas on the way and calculate an approximate flight time. Then I'll fill in an operational navigation plan (no ATC flight plan needed, as both airfields are in class G airspace) and calculate the needed amount of fuel.

There's a snag however, the airfield we're flying to hosts the Norwegian championship in glider flying, starting today ...
