I have now formally joined a flying club located at Kjeller airfield just outside Oslo. And I'm nearly 90% done with the self-study part of the theory :)

Also, the first game in 2018 in the corporate football league ended with a 1-0 win for us. First clean sheet of the 2017-18 season!

Believe me, I won't need to do very extreme flying in order to make it more exciting than my football career.

Can I just say that The X Factor and Virtual XI are two of the most unfairly maligned albums ever? Both of them are highly integral to Maiden's discography and both of them are great in execution as well. I wouldn't change a goddamn thing.
 
I think I must be under too much pressure at work already as I spent most of today mindlessly repeating "look Iggle Piggle, it's the Ninky Nonk!" and two of my colleagues, both of whom have young children, recognised it and informed me that it's actually from a real programme (I thought it was just some nonsense Ed Byrne made up).

Well, at least I survived the first week of 2018, albeit as a gibbering idiot ...
 
My week has actually been decent, thanks to snow I've got two extra days off. :D

Also, I know I've been critical of BNW but... god, I love that album too. Right now I'd say Killers is probably Maiden's low point TBH.
