Next week I'll be going to this lovely part of Norway. Without any company.

@Ariana, did you manage to get to Croatia some time ago? If you did, how would you compare your experience to Greece?
 
It is in Femundsmarka, about 400km north of Oslo, and near the Swedish border. Femunden is the 3rd largest lake in Norway and I've been in the area a few times before. I'll wear a Maiden t-shirt to scare bears away.

Well, yes. It's limited how many flights are allowed there, and in general there is a lot of regulations on tourism there. For the record, I think that's a good thing - it's a rather unique area and also vulnerable.

Obviously, the tourism season is also quite short since there is no daylight from late October through mid-February.
