I didn't want a warning point. :ninja:
Just using that as a link to my question, since that other thread is locked.
Why did Cried get a warning point? I don't think he did anything wrong in that thread. I mean, I'm not trying to defend Cried or anything, but just for the sake of justice (I'm a Libra, excuse me), I need to bring this up. He wasn't the one to start things up, and while he acted in his usual ways, I didn't think his posts were more offensive, condescending, or aggressive than Mosh's, NP's or mine for that matter.

There's a difference between saying "Not another thread" and "Not another fucking thread", when you're talking to someone who doesn't know the forum. The tone is different.

I'm mildly upset that @JudasMyGuide didn't make fun of me.
Me too. I thought Judas liked me.

LooseCannon: You call that cold? It was minus gazillion degrees here yesterday and I didn't even wear a coat.

Saapanael: I saw a dream, I was at this bar and there was this girl, we were talking then out of nowhere Bruce Dickinson threw a drink at my face.

There you go.

The way I understood it, Cried was just interpreting what that GIF was supposed to mean. Anyway, just wanted to say that.

Come on, guys, this isn't serious. We all know there are right ways to say things and wrong ways to do so, and we are all aware of tone and stuff. But that's not what this case is about. You can't just go about assuming things. Cried's posts in the thread clearly (to me) point to the fact that he was just referring to post #2, as he put it there. Sorry, but I just think he got unfair treatment in that situation just because he is Cried.

I will take the unusual step of explaining myself more fully.

First of all, it was wrong of me to name call Cried in the thread, and I should have handled that via PM. Cried, I publicly apologize for doing so.

I will not discuss specifics, but the staff members involved were not without similar processes.

As for the particulars, I'm very happy to explain. Cried has a history of posting to make things worse. He had an obvious choice to escalate a situation or to de-escalate a situation. He made the wrong choice, and whether or not he believes or understands it, his voice is a leadership one on the forum.

If Ariana or Flash or Forostar had made the same post (first three that came to mind) they also would have gotten a warn point.

We will not tolerate abuse of new members on this forum. Period.

Again, I admit I name dropped Cried because I'm personally tired of his brand of sarcasm, and I apologise for that again. But that's not why he got warned. He got warned for intentionally deciding to raise shit.

I won't answer any further questions publicly but feel free to address any further concerns with me or any active mods via PM.

Oh, I had quite a bike accident today. Rode too fast on a difficult track and had to slam the brakes at 40 km/h. Flipped mid-air and landed some 3 meters away on a looser patch of ground, my bike on top or beside me, which saved me from more serious injuries but left me covered in sand from head to toe. Although the initial feeling of concussion was rather heavy, I got away with moderate pain in one shoulder and arm. Lucky accident as they say.

Glad you're okay indeed.
