On a lighter note, going on my first longer bike trip of this year.
 
I just signed my labour contract, starting for June. I'm now literally between jobs.
 
R.I.P. Chris Cornell

This fucking sucks. Chris Cornell was one of the greatest voices and songwriters of our time. He was legitimately the single most talented person to come out of the entire "grunge era".

Personally, he was one of my biggest vocal influences. The fact that we lost him 7 years and 1 day after Dio makes me a little bit superstitious and very sad.
 
This is the first celebrity death in quite a while that I actually feel affected by. I was lucky enough to see him perform a few Temple Of The Dog songs live at a Pearl Jam concert. Seeing Chris Cornell and Eddie Vedder on stage together singing Hunger Strike was the absolute highlight and one of the best moments of any concert I've ever been to.

He will truly be missed. R.I.P.
