For smashing the SSOASS tape, he deserves to be a number, not a free man.
I did the opposite many years ago by getting rid of most of my vinyl after replacing them with CDs. I still have a box load of cassettes, though, and started to collect special vinyl albums and stuff.I've thrown away a lot of my old CD's...I keep the good ones in boxes. I hate to display CD's, they don't look good either....Vinyls on the other hand
And I have heard the argument applied to books, too. The thing with books, though, reading on tablets etc isn't as comfortable as holding a book, and those who enjoy the experience of reading often like the whole physical book experience too.
Actually at the fastest pace of the entire year. The days are getting shorter at a fast pace now.
He did at the time. But I think we can forgive him considering The Thin Line Between Love And Hate is one of his most favorite songs. For smashing the SSOASS tape, he deserves to be a number, not a free man.
Did you try reading from a tablet? I think it's way more comfortable. Tablet is lighter than a book, takes up less space and you can use it with one hand. It's much easier to carry a tablet when you go on a trip than carrying multiple books. You can also read it in the dark if you get the one with the backlight. The thing with books, though, reading on tablets etc isn't as comfortable as holding a book
How many buckethead cds do you have?Like Mosh, I don't really discover music via CDs (who has the time & money for that shit?); still buy them for favourites though, like Maiden & Buckethead (if I can get hold of them). Books? Well, I collect books; so have fucking thousands of them. You can pick up books that are hundreds of years old for buttons. Vinyl, tape, CDs, MP3; these are proving to be ephemeral formats. Print will outlast them all.
Glad I'm not the only one in this camp. Print is great but tablets have been a revelation for me. The tablet is comfortable, it allows me to travel with more books than before, and I can read in the dark without having to deal with a flashlight.Did you try reading from a tablet? I do still get paperbacks, but usually only books I already read on the tablet. Most of the books I read aren't sold here though, but I try to buy my favorites if they are. Mostly so that I have something to read in case of a great power outage / apocalypse

I've made 298 Buckethead "purchases" i.e. albums in all formats, inc. some that may be multiple CDs/discs per release. Of them, probably only about 70-80 are actual hard copies (CDs). I have most of his main pre-Pikes albums on CD & most side-project stuff on CD. I only have the first 10 Pikes on CD & a few others. The bulk of his Pikes releases I purchases digitally via bandcamp. They haven't had a regular CD release anyway. There's 234 of them. How many buckethead cds do you have?
