My taxes are paid by automatic payroll deduction, but that doesn't take into account any credits I have, so I have to calculate at the end of the year.

Same here. It's slightly more automated, the form is already filled out when we get it, but we are required to check the numbers and correct them if necessary.

We have to do it all. Some of the data is submitted automatically, but a statement still has to be done in the traditional form. In my case more so, as last year I had income from various different sources.
