I took some hours off work today and went skiing. It was probably the nicest 30 km of cross-country skiing I'll have this winter. Conditions were a dream, weather likewise. Even my body cooperated to some extent.

I got the results of an exam and I got an 8 (grades at uni are from 5-10, 5 is a failing grade that never goes into the books). We leave our student indexes to the professor then pick them up later on when he signs them all. Picked mine up this morning and my 8 is now somehow a 9. Professor wasn't there so I couldn't ask what happened, I'll just take it as a sign to not question it
