And I always thought the commentary section was intended for more considered thought & analysis. I know initial thoughts are important & interesting; I just didn't think this was the place for them. Plus, as you know Foro, I'm not really liking the guitarists analysis/comment to date (or in general). I joke about it (e.g. by asking new members who there favourite guitarist is, etc), but it's not particularly balanced & is now really starting to rankle.

I will very likely clean these threads up in 6 months or so and remove the crap comments.
 
I look forward to the completion of Rail Baltic. It has always been a minor dream of mine to travel by train through the countryside.
 
A nightmare of a first day.
  • I missed two classes totalling up to six hours because I couldn't find where the hell they were located. I was 45 minutes late for a class despite having arrived at the building 30 minutes early. It's like a fucking labyrinth.
  • I only managed to find one class on time, and I did so by following a group of random people. If they didn't happen to be in the same department as me, I'd close the day 0/3 despite being there all along.
  • Looking for the classes for hours non-surprisingly took its toll on my legs. I'm absolutely exhausted.
  • On the bus ride back home, the bus driver was soon exposed as a n00b. He had to ask passengers for direction, took 5 wrong turns. To make matters worse, a road on the route was under construction and closed, adding 15 more minutes to the travel.
I read online a while ago that newcomers at that facility were destined to get lost in it, not be able to find anyone that knows the place very well, call it a labyrinth and go "Fuck this shit". Happened step by step today. Fuck this shit.

Once the album leaked, those threads were inevitable. They help to contain and organize the discussion, even if the discussion is bad. Without them, all that stuff would have been posted in the main album thread - and trust me, you'd have been complaining that we didn't open threads for each song. How do I know this?

Exactly. This isn't our first rodeo. We've tried it the other way, and this works better.

Look at the bright side, in a few years you'll be able to have a laugh at freshmen trying to find their way around. ;)
 
Local elections in Norway today. In Oslo, it seems like the Environmentalist party will be the party which can tip the balance in the favour of either side. They have never been in such a position before, so it is not a given that they will support the left side parties, but it is likely. This means the mayor (from the Conservative party) will have to look for a new job.
 
So, yesterday I passed my final exam (which was hard as f*ck; the hardest exam I've ever experienced so far) - I now officially have a college degree... :yey:You could say I'm also officially a lawyer by now (though not an attorney yet). Of course I celebrated on my way home by listening to TBOS in its entirety. :D

Owner of the restaurant just called me to apologize and offered me a completely free order in exchange for me taking down the scathing review. I said yes, never ever gonna deny free food :P
