SSD's are the shiznitz. I have one for my system, and a bunch of hard drives for storage.

My cat destroyed my 3 tb external drive. He chewed the power chord, which then fried the disc. All sectors are dead....

Would be neat to put one in the laptop like you Wasted, but it's out my budget atm.

Yeah, it was a good move, and I'm pretty excited about it! Now... there are only 2 of us in the IT, so title is mostly just a 'name'... but still


Love a SSD! Hope that works out for you! For my laptop, I like that idea-- I don't need a big drive, give me a smaller SSD and external storage and I'm a happy guy

Hey man, if they pay you for the title, it doesn't matter what you rule. Glad it's working out for you, even if it'll change your potential future plans. Still, once Maiden announces, I'm just sayin'...

And yep, when I rebuild my computer this spring, I'm very likely going to an SSD for my primary drive - and several large storage hds, since I have 5 hd bays internally...so why not, right? But I gotta get some soldering experience, because I have to rewire the front bay if I want to use the forward ports.
