Oh, no. I got it for her for Xmas last year. She forgot to take it inside her moms house last night and it got stolen out of her car. She didn't lock it... so its on her. Just disappointing.

Well... her laptop wasn't awesome but it was pretty nice for high school.

I'm looking at a asus transformer. the dock has a 500GB drive in it, which is pretty cool.
 
I currently have an Asus Eee PC Seashell series. It was a birthday present three and a half years ago. It was good back then but it's too slow now and too small to do much more than browse the internet and listen to music. Although sometime it fucks up at that as well. Any idea how to stop Windows host processes Wasted? I can stop them using task manager but I'd like to stop them from running altogether as they slow the computer down to a snails pace.
 
Honestly, I don't know, but I thought that had to run for some Windows features to work. I'll see what I can find.

Maybe do a complete reinstall of the OS on it? Sometimes it helps to make it fresh. "nuke and repave" is what Loosey calls it.
