I suggest a Maiden related question instead of Captcha. Like "Last name of Iron Maiden's guitarist Adrian?" or something like that.

There is already a verification question in place: "Name one current member of Iron Maiden" but they seem to be able to bypass that. So maybe a verification AND a captcha?!
 
Maybe add a couple of different ones?

-Name of first Iron Maiden album?
-Adrian Smith plays which instrument in Iron Maiden?
-First song on Powerslave?

I dunno if it's possible to randomize that though.
 
Don't know either, but good idea. Perhaps the mods could pass this on to John. Getting rid of the bots would ease the workload with like 90% I would guess :lol:
 
On the bots thing: if they manage to register how about have their first post subject to moderator approval or keep their posts hidden until they've posted 5 times. Would give the mods time to catch them before it gets the way for everyone else.
 
That song, to me, well represents the cheesiness of the 80s. A deep artistic vision, it symbolizes the wait a fucking minute why am I subjecting myself to this garbage! I'm gonna go play some Iced Earth already.
