I'm not worried about it. Most of them are going to my friend's storage unit. She'll reunite me with them when she moves out there early next year. The important books are coming with me.

It looks messy, but that's because it's under heavy usage.
 
That's the Propyläen Weltgeschichte, a largely outdated but still useful general history of the world in ten volumes. Eleven in the earlier editions, the eleventh volume is the big grey one in the shelf underneath. My grandfather wrote a chapter in that one. He also wrote one of the big black ones, which is a general art history of the world.
