@Perun I have to admit that I'd not heard the Beast Over Hammersmith version of Hallowed. I owe you big for that!! It is amazing!! My oldest daughter said "I can see why your forum voted that number 1 Maiden song". Yeah. She's pretty smart. It won two years in a row??

Glad you feel that way. :) I was completely blown away first time I heard Beast Over Hammersmith, and even more so when I first saw it on the Early Days DVD.

I hate Tom Cruise, but gotta admit the movie looks interesting.

Two weeks till Maiden. Made a setlist playlist, I'm gonna listen to it day and night until the concert.

Missed that discussion, but yes, it is a great version -- and a testament to the skill of Clive Burr, who actually kept the song at the proper tempo throughout. Nicko has been incapable of doing that, from Live After Death onwards.

Nicko nails most of Clive's songs, except for The Prisoner. Mostly because he's not as precise in the opening drum intro. Also, he just can't outplay Clive's Hallowed & Phantom performances on Beast Over Hammersmith.
