12-11 to Selby after O'Sullivan misses a relatively simple pink ... This could get late, no doubt about that. There are potentially 12 frames left! At least the spectators get value for their money :D
 
That last frame was 50 minutes. They could easily play out 9 or 10 frames tonight without one of them getting over the finishing line. Should be tense.

Today's big story in Norwegian news channels: our most successful male cross-country skier of the last 10 years, Petter Northug, went drunk driving in the weekend and crashed his car, then leaving the scene. A passenger suffered a fractured clavicle.

It is bad, but still - the tabloids run article after article about this while you have to scroll until the mouse catches fire to read about e.g. Ukraine.

Almost done for the time being.I just need to get the dotted panels (Made em myself as well as the corner bass traps) up on the wall,build two more, and of course, properly position everything rather than putting them up where I guessed would be suitable (there were also some hooks on the wall anyway). There's also some foam right on top of my head attached to the ceiling as well as auralex foam on the door in the back (auralex sucks, and will over time swap them to more self made panels).

I'm pretty pleased.

The table vibrates a slight bit too much (got it today), but way better than my old table which had a horrible 125hz area ring to it.

After three years at the uni and one year working full time I better! The studio part is sadly only a hobby though. I work in live sound.
 
Well, if you spend your days working with sound in venues more or less fit for the purpose, with varying conditions and thus varying sound quality, I get why you feel the need for good sound at home :)

One of the (many) things I like about the new car I'm buying, is that it has a sound system which is much better than in the old one!
 
Interesting, my dad has been watching the snooker all this time. He has no idea who Nicko McBrain is though. I might ask him if he saw a guy with a flat nose in the audience.
 
Oh no. O'Sullivan just can't make it easy for himself. Has to go for a difficult coloured instead of playing for safety. And in the mental state he is right now ... he misses.

EDIT: But gets a second chance and wins the frame to make it 13-15. This is far from over.
 
It is. The World Championship final is played first to 18 frames, and each frame takes at least 15 minutes - sometimes more than 30 minutes. This match is divided into four sessions, this is the last session and they will play until one of them reaches 18 frames.
