Am I a terrible person for recycling parts of a paper I wrote over three years ago in a different course?
 
I just felt like there is no need to write something again if I'd already written it. That doesn't make sense. You hear me? IT DOESN'T MAKE SENSE!

No. It was a different course, a different lecturer, a different subject and a different institute.
 
Go ahead then. If it had been submitted electronically then you'd have to be very careful not to self-plagiarize. I guess you could cite yourself.
 
Just a standard term paper my lecturer will probably not even read entirely.
 
There's not really a problem with it. I was just elaborating how lazy I am. But yeah, it's supposed to be original.
 
Well, I would probably just use the previous paper as inspiration. A lot of effort would be saved by that alone. Anyway, good luck. I'll have a beer.
