What's odd about it?

His point is legit, but his argumentation isn't. He mixes up quality and quantity. 2 per cent says nothing about the nature of the difference. For all we know, an alien species could differ from us in 98 per cent, but that could account merely for physical differences, and they could be just as smart or stupid as us.

Indeed; it's an entirely anthropological view point to take. Aliens might not have any genetic material in which to make this kind of comparison.

I got a change to to play 9 games on the new XBOX one today ... I am not a huge gamer, but enjoy them on occasion

I have to say the game system is really cool, the Kinnect is incredibly accurate ... detecting a finger twitch, the controllers are very cool. Similar to the 360 ones, but a little sleeker, lighter and the triggers are improved.

Graphics were incredible, I had to listen to the audio over headphones, but it still sounded god.

All in all, it was pretty impressive .. not a sure thing, but I may get a chance to do the same with the PS4 next week.

Wow, slow day.

Both my husband and I have an Xbox 360 and once the new consoles come out, hes looking to possibly buy one of them so seeing some feedback is nice. He said he might wait a bit and see how either of them do after they've been out for a while before he buys one.

Not a bad move ... you can always get a refurb or used one cheaper too starting about a month after they are released.

He'd probably want to get a brand new one knowing him. I think he's leaning towards the PS4 but I'm not sure since a lot of the backlash of the Xbox One has changed.

I am going to get a refurb because it should be $50 cheaper and if you get it from a store like Gamestop it will have a warranty and be easy to swap out if there is a problem. I am leaning heavily towards the X-Box .. the Kinnect is really cool on this new version ... incredibly accurate.

Looking at the exclusive games to each console, it is about a wash for me and I like the Kinnect over the Move .. so XBox wins for me. Plus I am used to the controller, the new one is real similar to the old ones, but I think subtly improved

If I had to chose, I'd go with Xbox too only because that's the console I'm most use to by now. I've never used Kinect. I never really had any sort of interest in it myself so that part of it doesn't really matter too much to me.

As someone who went through all the different game systems from Atari and up and always getting excited about seeing better graphics on each new system, I'm dying to see the Xbox One on a 4K TV. That would be SO amazing!

It is kinda cool though even if you do not use the motion controller .. some game use the audio on it .. for example on Madden you can call out audibles

Same here .. I think Intellevision is my all time favorite console for the what it had when it came out. Mainly the Intellevoice

I don't really play games that have Kinect abilities so that's probably another reason why I'm not all that into it. Well, there's Mass Effect 3 that can use it but eh, I like my good ol' controller.
