I actually adopted him. :) My husband's cousin could no longer keep him as she was moving into a dorm apartment that didn't allow her to keep him so she wanted to find a good home for him and I always wanted a bunny.

I'd consider petting a rabbit but I'm concerned about what I've seen on forums. They can be given potty training but I don't know how that would work. They tend to eat everything they can find non stop. And it's really hard to get rid of the smell once they're dead (it's inevitable). I'm highly allergic to cats and dogs, rabbit would be the only choice if I decided to get a pet that is actually moving around. (i had a parakeet for ten years he died in 2009 and have two fishes now)

Yes, bunnies really love to snack that's for sure! :D I'm afraid I can't keep any pets where I live, don't know which one it would be either...

Bunny treats is the way to go! :D

But well, don't bunnies hate being lifted off the ground in general? ;)
We'd hold him while sitting, not high up. :p And we've given him treats but we're told obviously not to give him too many.

The bunny I have is potty trained already so I'm not sure how the process works. He does have his own litter box in his cage, like a cat would use. I was told that mine will chew through wires and such but I think the key to that is to keep an eye on them so they don't do that. He'll stay in his cage most of the time but they say to leave a bunny out every so often but supervised.

Sounds like a good way to go about it at first, but I mean, even after they get accustomed to you, I don't think they'll ever actually love being picked up and held, we gotta remember they are fierce bad asses with big nasty point teeth, we gotta respect the bunnies! :p

Anyways, sleep time for me :hello:

Anybody here besides me wants to see Eddie with hair again? He's been bald since 83 except where in 1990 in no prayer for the dying he had hair(The x factor I won't even count it's just a mess)
