Judas Priest: Epitaph in cinema. First-timer for such an experience, it definitely left a memorable impression. I am very pleased with going, at times it was as if I was really seeing them live. There were downsides to the concert though. First and foremost, the volume was far too loud, probably because of trying to imitate a real concert, but it really should have been lowered at least a bit to reduce the unwanted noise. Luckily, I had my headphones with me and on about the third song in I put them on. The sound was now very enjoyable. The headphones, however didn't solve every problem. What bothered me most was that Glenn's guitar was considerably quieter than Richie's. I could very barely hear Tipton's solos (even in Painkiller, blasphemy!), instead the audience got to hear dozens and dozens of Richie's versions of former K.K.'s solos. Imo, all his solos sound very similar, it's like putting together Dave Murray and Janick Gers and speeding it up and playing the same solo every time. To my delight, his didn't ruin all the fun, far from it! The setlist was nice and I'd give the overall best performer award to Scott Travis whose drumming was so very pleasant to listen to, especially the solo he played before Painkiller, as he always does. 2 and a half hours of the British gods was well worth the time and money! Hoping to see them live in reality, while they're still performing.
