Ha! I decide to stay out of here just for one night and I miss all the fun. A fuckin' Pope-welcoming party with Holy Smoke. This is personal, isn't it? <_<
 
I have to read the Fugitive incident one day.
I tried once but I found it trop boring. And I couldn't understand the tension it supposedly created..
Some topics are near impossible to be read once you weren't there. The 'Fugitive' is one of them.

Check my post again. I didn't write 'other philosophical work' and 'etc.' for no reason. There are other papers, works that explain the stance of a religion other than 'the books', so to speak.

Yes there are, mostly written by Westerns grown up as Christians usually.
Take the animism /shamanism of native Americans. There is no connonical book, it's purely an experience.. We know practically nothing about those religions, they are such a different league, that define them with the same word of 'religion' we use for Christianity or Islam, could even be wrong.. Or at least misleading & not very accurate

It was bloody boring.
 
The band I've seen live the most is Iron Maiden, 13 times. I'm trying to determine the second most. It is most probably either Turisas or Alestorm. I'm pretty sure I've seen one of them five times, I just can't say which one.
 
I just realized I'd be lucky to see them a second time. If I get all the luck in the world, I might reach the stunning number three. :(
 
I've seen them three times on the AMOLAD tour (Paris, Dortmund, London), twice on the "Matter of the Beast" tour (Ludwigshafen, Düsseldorf), twice on Somewhere Back in Time (Paris, Wacken), twice on the first leg of the TFF tour (Knebworth, Wacken), three times on the second leg (Berlin, London, London) and once so far on the Maiden England tour (Boston). Two or three times coming up this year.

My envy would be complete had you seen them on BNW tour. I would've loved to be there, at RiR. So badly.

BNW had the best sound I can recall, amazing sound

Plus X Factour, 7th Son & one more with Blaze before that.
After, AMOLAD, Early Years, Powertime & I think that's all. 8 times total non e' male ;)

Seriously though. I'm pretty fucking envious of you.
 
Plus regarding concerts attended, I have a little dirty secret, or an ace in my pocket, that I haven't tell anybody all these years :D
Something to be proud or ashamed.. I'm ashamed thus the secret..
