Yeah 3rd year here but I don't see me leaving this apartment anytime soon... Everything is ok, location, finishing, price, but the most important by far is the light /view. The side I showed you has no wall at all, full glass, plus it looks to the North with such a way that I have all the day full light without having the sun.

I can see the sun rise, but about 8am, is there, up in the sky my side, but not entering inside..

Same here. I was searching for a villa initially. I wanted to be close to the earth. But then, villa you need to 1) fill it 2) clean it 3) take care of the garden 4) it's far from the sea 5) it's far from everything 6) you have bullshit snobby neighbours 7) bullshit and small swimming pool 8) no gym.

So I ended up here. In the start I was feeling normal, but eventually (when I did a research for moving from here) I realised that I hit the jack pot.

You take what you can get and in the end, it turns out to be the best option for you. As long as you're happy about where you at, that's all that matters. :)

I even considered to buy it, go figure ;)
Problem is that the prices have gone ridiculously high.

I have to leave* now Moon Child :)
It should be late now there. Any plans, a movie maybe??

*in fact I'll be here but out of net, studying

Haha! Yeah...it's 3 am so I'll be off to bed here soon. I do actually have some fun things planned for later in the day. :D

Enjoy your studying? Is that the right word? :p I'm sure it's not all that fun.

Good night all!

Time for 2nd breakfast, healthy fois gras with marmalade du Midi. An orange juice and a strong coffee.

Enjoy your studying? Is that the right word? :p I'm sure it's not all that fun.

In fact I enjoy as hell once I get me concentrated. The suffer is until to reach there ;)

healthy fois gras
Do not want to spoil your eating but fois gras is a controversial product.

OMG. Never saw those pictures before.. I mean I knew it but seeing it is different.
Nevertheless, here's a strange thing:
In France I was avoiding eating fois gras just because of this.
In France fois gras was something bad.
Here, there is no fois gras in general.
The general cuisine culture is Anglo-Saxo; fish & chips, steak well cooked & beer. Bad is good. More is better.
Lately though, a kind of alimentation gourmet has opened next to my building. The boss is a Frenchman who makes fois gras maison every now and then, not to make profit, just to please other Frenchmen who miss their country.

So here fois gras, this fois gras, is like a blessing. This guy is like a priest & we go to ask if there is holy communion. Even not spreading the word around too much, as he can not produce in mass. He has other things to do. Especially some rainy days like this.

Now, what can I say.. I feel that after those pictures... I'm loosing my religion ;)

I just got back from a long walk in the park. Feels like spring already.

I just came back from one hour of cross-country skiing. It felt nothing like spring, but it was still good. It's both fun, and excellent exercise.

Now it's time to watch the Premier League for the next few hours :D
